FIELD HOCKEY: WINDSOR FALLS IN DOUBLE-OVERTIME IN STATE SEMIFINAL (2023-11-11)

Anna Finn and Vienna McCombs scored for Windsor's field hockey team, but the Black Knights dropped a 3-2 decision in double overtime to Section 1's Mamaroneck in a Class A state semifinal Saturday at Centereach High.

Lily Brinkman scored the winner for Mamaroneck (21-0-1), which will play Section 6's Orchard Park in the state final Sunday.

Finn, who'll play for Rider University next season, will graduate as Windsor's all-time leader in goals. She scored 27 goals this season and has more than 100 in a Black Knights uniform.

Windsor closes the season at 15-4.
