Chenango Forks' final tuneup before the postseason resulted in a 44-0 Section 4 Football Conference Division IV victory Friday at Sidney.

Tate Bender scored the Blue Devils' first two touchdowns, the first on a 44-yard punt return and the second on an 18-yard completion from Sam Paske.

Before the first quarter was over, Chris Boyle scored on a 2-yard run and Tyler Rifenbury rushed 25 yards for a touchdown.

Boyle contributed touchdown runs of 63 and 15 yards in the second quarter as the Blue Devils took a 38-0 lead into halftime.

Forks (5-3) will play host to Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour (6-3) at 7 p.m. Friday in a Section 4 Class C semifinal. Waverly (8-1) will play host Susquehanna Valley (4-4) in the other C semifinal at 7 p.m. Friday

The Blue Devils defeated WG/O-M, 40-8, during the regular season.

The rest of the Section 4 11-man playoff menu is as follows:

Class AA semifinal: Binghamton (1-8) at Elmira (3-5), 10 a.m. Saturday. The winner will play top-seeded Corning (4-4) in the final.

Class A semifinal: Union-Endicott (3-5) at Horseheads (6-3), 7 p.m. Friday. The winner will play top-seeded Vestal (7-1) in the final.

Class B semifinals: Windsor (7-2) will play host to Owego (4-4) at 7 p.m. Friday and Norwich (4-5) will travel to Maine-Endwell (8-0) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Class D semifinals (Saturday at Susquehanna Valley): Walton (5-3) will play Tioga (9-0) at noon and Delhi (8-1) will face Newark Valley (4-4) at 3 p.m.
