FOOTBALL: MCCOMBS' THREE TDS LEAD WINDSOR TO 42-20 WIN AT JC (2023-10-28)

Windsor marched 99 yards on its opening possession, a drive capped by a Mason McCombs' touchdown run and went on to a 42-20 Section 4 Football Conference Division III victory Friday at Johnson City.

McCombs finished with three touchdowns. Backfield mate Dom Weaver had two touchdowns and quarterback Ashton Werner also scored a TD.

Windsor finished the regular season 7-2 overall and 3-2 in Division III. Maine-Endwell, Windsor, Owego and Norwich have qualified for the Section 4 Class B playoffs.

It appears the Black Knights will get the second seed and host a semifinal next weekend, likely against Owego, but that's not official.
